Isn’t the idea of a new year being a clean slate just fantastic? I’m all for it!

But you know what’s not so fantastic? The crazy pressure we tend to put on ourselves when we kick off that fresh start.

I’ve noticed that many of my clients get all pumped up about plotting out their goals for the upcoming year, only to find themselves stuck with a list of actions they think they should accomplish.

The trouble? Not everyone is clear on what’s driving those goals. And guess what? When the motivation is murky, those goals start feeling like a drag before the first few months are even up.

Many other clients focus on what they lack in order to formulate some goals. As a result, if some goals are missed, the sense of lack blows up!

Now, don’t get me wrong — I’m not anti-goals. I’m just pro-mindful goals, and I’m here to lend a hand.
